Zaz, more commonly known as Zarina Varley is not who you would expect to be a jazz enthusiast. She is a (primarily classical) trumpet player, and has been for almost 13 years (which is really how she got into this business) and enjoys the music of The Cat Empire and The Bamboos (and MANY more). She finds talking in the third person about herself quite irritating.

Ahh that's better. So, I'm Zaz! Nice to meet you. Seeing as you're a visitor of my site, I'm presuming you have some idea of who I am, but here is some background information anyway. As I said earlier, I have been playing the trumpet for almost 15 years. Music is my passion and I have known that from a very early age, but I came to the realisation that professional playing wasn't for me though I still play in the Sydney Wind Symphony, which is good fun!

For as long as I can remember, music has been my whole life and it is very much continuing that way. I studied Music Business as well as Marketing and PR and currently work with one of this countries finest specialty booking and touring agenceis - Niche Productions. I've also been in JWA jazz camps for the past three years, being a camp counsellor and helping with administration.
